What makes ‘The Farmhouse’ stand out:

  • Solid Oak Hardwoods

    When the home was acquired, it was covered in carpet. We had no idea, but beneath that carpet were solid oak hardwood floors that were being preserved and waiting for us to give them new life again.

  • Stacked Stone Foundation

    Let us repeat that…stacked stone foundation with no mortar. That was (and is!) the foundation. We have added additional foundations but we love showing and talking about the original foundation that has withstood 100 years.

  • Original Fireplaces

    One of our favorite pieces of history on the property are the original fireplaces in the front room and even in the kitchen. The charm that these bring to the house is irreplaceable and makes the home so cozy!

  • Stairs to the Bedroom

    If you walked upstairs, you would be able to see the building codes and structures that were used in the early 1900s. It is to code, grandfathered in, but it is almost as if you are climbing a ladder to a time warp of memories.
